In the Beginning...

...it started with a lawn mower. I was transfixed with all things noisy. If it had moving parts and made noise,  I WAS IN!  At some point, my father arrived home to a curious 12-year-old who had diligently laid out all the inner-workings of the lawnmower engine, disassembled, on a tarp.  His only response, "It had better run when you're done!"  Not sure if that counts as encouragement, but it wasn't a reprimand.  And with that, I was set loose upon the tool set.  All these years later, not much has really changed.

Our aim at DMS is to show anyone who has an interest in adding their own personal touch to their machine, that they have the ability to do it, without the prohibitive expense of paying someone else to accomplish the task. Confidence and the willingness to learn is all it takes. Well...that and some tools.
